Helping to transform family home for twin boys with life limiting disabilities on DIY SOS.

Sean Doyle Windows Ltd were delighted to feature on an episode of the hit TV show DIY SOS. The well-known window and door company helped the Guihen family, whose twin boys Shay and Finn needed the family home adapted to their changing needs and for their future development.

TV personality Baz Ashmawy presents the Irish version of DIY SOS: The Big Build Ireland.

The hit TV show sees the Irish presenter and his team of experts give deserving families a home makeover – in the space of nine days.

Shay and Finn Guihen are 8-year-old identical twin boys, born with Pfeiffer Syndrome Type III: a rare genetic disorder causing a number of very challenging and life limiting disabilities. The boys live at home with their loving parents Denise & Dermot and little brother Riley (6) and require around the clock care for their complex needs.

The home is no longer suited to the family’s needs and this is where the DIY SOS show comes in.

Sean Doyle Windows assisted with the new extension to the existing house in County Kildare by providing grey Aluminium double glazed windows and the company was delighted to be involved in the show as Jonathan Doyle explained.

“DIY SOS is a really feel-good and inspiring show which brings out the best in people so it was great to be involved in helping this County Kildare family out by providing the Aluminium windows for the new extension which will hopefully help to make life easier for them,” said Jonathan.
